Essay

The object of investigation is sodium channels nociception neurons. The aim is to investigate the influence of methylxantines and pirolimidazole derivatives (D57) on TTX- resistant and TTX- sensitive sodium currents. Voltage-clamp technique with intracellular dialysis were used. We found out that D57 effect was dose-dependent,had various affinity and stochiometry of linkage for different types of channels.Membrane potential and type of the channel determined use-dependent block. Derivatives of methylxantines act as agonists of sodium channels, carry out the effects by direct interaction with the channel, methyl groups do not take participation in these action. Field of application: scientific and educational institutes of medical and biological type.
