The objects of the researche were the black currant blister rust causal organism and the researche was to substantiate measures for limiting the black currant blister rust development under the conditions of the Ukraine's Northern Lisosteppe taking into consideration the biological peculiarities of the disease causal organism, cultivars resistance against the disease and necessity of using ecologically safe fungicides. The methods were laboratory, laboratory-field and field ones. The scientific novelty was in the fact that for the first time the biologicaly peculiarities of the black currant blister rust were studied in the conditions of the Ukraine's Northern Lisosteppe, the cultivars and hybrids resistance against the disease was studied and high- and mediumresistant samples were selected which may be considered to be sources of resistance. Besides, we detected the negative influence of the blister rust causal organism on the peculiarities of the metabolism in the leaves of cultivars with different resistance, the mathematical model of the prognosis of the disease development was elaborated and measures of the black currant protection against it was improved. The range of the usage is agricultural production, breeding, plant protection.
