Grab O. Literary and artistic life of Halychyna at the end of ХІХ - the first third of ХХ century in the context of transformation national consciousness.

This research is devoted to investigation of artistic atmosphere of Halychyna at the end of ХІХ - the first third of ХХ century, studing forms of aesthetical mentality of artists in the context of transformation national consciousness. Special attention is concentrated on the stages of forming and development of national culture and inheritance of Halychyna, as components of nation-creative processes, which were of great importance for the future creation of state. Attention is concentrated on functionof West-European styles of art for example romanticism, which declared brightly about itself at the end of ХІХ - the first third of ХХ century in the West-Ukrainian artistic horizon specifically in I.Franko's, "poets' molodomuztci"and S.Ludkevych's works of art, directing to overcoming national narrow-mindedness. It was proved at the same time, that romantic style had manifested itself as a special way of functioning of art, formed aesthetical tasks of epoch, it had promoted actively to creation of national artistic schods especially in the countries fighting for their state independence and had become spiritual constant, which had seized the broad democratic public masses very guickly especially in the sorroundings of national art creators.
