Essay

Main risk factors of chronic fatigue syndrome formation in children and adolescents were detected. Peculiarities of clinical manifestation, disbalance of immune system and intercellular mediators – cytokines (ІL-4, ІL-6, ІL-8, TNF, ІL-6R) in children and adolescents with chronic fatigue syndrome were studied. Knowledge about the role of hipothalamic-pituitary-adrenal system and vegetative homeostasis in pathogenesis of chronic fatigue syndrome in children and adolescents was enriched. Peculiarities of neuro-endocrinologic and immune relations and the role of NO in regulation of vascular tension in patients with chronic fatigue syndrome were investigated. System of complex pathogenic therapy of children and adolescents with chronic fatigue syndrome basing on modern technology of diagnosis of neuro-endocrinilogic, immune and methabolic disorders was substantiated.
