Penderetskyy O. The evaluation of ecological situation in the affected zone of Bourshtyn power station

The scientific-methodical fundamentals of ecological audit at the level of administrative district aiming at testing under hude man-caused influence of the power object have been worked out. The Halych region of the Ivano-Frankivsk region has been selected for this purpose, where the most western Ukrainian Bourshtyn power station is located. The calculations of geochemical coefficients and indices - regional background, clarks concentrations, coefficients of concentrations, total indices of contamination - enabled us to estimate the ecological status of every component and landscape on the whole and to define the ecological situation in its dynamics on the territory of the ground chosen. After that the prognosis of the development of ecological situation was carried out depending on this or that scenery of social-economical development of the given district, which let us develop measures of environmental protection.
