Essay

The theoretical analysis of scientific literature has been carried out, the essence and contents of junior pupils' music interest to folk-instrument performance in the system of educational establishments of different types providing general education have been characterized and their structural components have been determined. The criteria and levels of interest to folk instrument's musical performance have been determined. Methodology of their investigation of junior pupils has been improved. Methodology of forming interest to folk-instrument musical performance in extra-lessons activities has been theoretically well grounded and experimentally verified. The significance of the results for further development of music theory and practice has been proved.
