Karpechkin P. Function of Court of General Jurisdiction in Ukraine: problems of theory and practice.

The thesis explores theoretical and practical problems of the functions of Courts of General Jurisdiction in Ukraine. Their evolution, concept, correlation with other functions of the judicial power are studied. The thesis includes the main criteria of courts' functions classification and analysis of main types of functions of Courts of General Jurisdiction and their system. Great attention is paid to the functions system of Courts of General Jurisdiction and to its main elements characteristics. The main directions of development and improvement of the system of functions of Courts of General Jurisdiction in modern circumstances are thoroughly examined. Special attention is paid to practical recommendations with regard to improvement and increase of efficiency of Courts of General Jurisdiction in Ukraine in consideration of positive national and foreign experience.
