Tendencies of distribution of epidemic HIV/AIDS in Ukraine are established, the basic stages of development of epidemic process are determined. The interrelation between way of transfer of the infection and features of distribution of the HIV-infection is revealed. Joint influence on epidemic process of parenteral (injection) and heterosexual ways of transfer of the infection at the present stage is proved. It is established, that the way of transfer of the infection can influence on displays of virus infections within an organism. The received results are used by development of the registration document "Messages on changes in the Registration card of the HIV-infected person" and "Methodical recommendations concerning laboratory monitoring behaind the HIV-infection and antiretroviral therapy". Changes of prevailing subtypes of the HIV-1 is established during epidemic process in 1987-2003 years in separate regions of Ukraine, in groups including IDUs and people infected by heterosexual way. Dominationsof subtype A HIV-1 in the majority of regions of Ukraine, Multiple strains and subtype B - in Nikolaev region are proved.
