Essay

The thesis is devoted to production of a system for investigation of intergenomic transposition. Approach is based on production of four combinations of intertribal somatic hybrids between Arabidopsis thaliana L., transformed with heterologous maize transposable element Spm/dSpm and some species from Brassicaceae, for further investigation of Spm/dSpm activity. Activity of heterologous maize transposable element Spm/dSpm have been shown in three hybrid combinations.
