Novelty of the obtained results: Based on retrospective pathological analysis, the study of the liver tissue from the women died from severe pre-eclampsia and eclampsia, typical lesions of the liver parenchyma which reveal some mechanisms of the liver involvement in gestosis were determined. For the first time, Doppler study of the blood circulation in the vessels of the liver was suggested for evaluation of its involvement in preeclampsia. For the first time, the possibility to use a plant polyflavonoid drug Piflamin as a hepatoprotector in pregnant with pre-eclampsia was substantiated. The advantages of the developed method for pre-eclampsia treatment vs the traditional methods of treatment were proven.
