The object - processes which arise at functioning city passenger transport system depending on parameters of routing network; the aims - development of model of functioning and search of rational variant of a routing network of city passenger transport; the methods - economic-mathematical modeling, natural inspections, the statistical analysis; novelty - is received new law of change of parameters of efficiency of functioning of city transport system depending on parameters of routing network on the basis of the developed model which takes into account rational value allowable curve lines of routes that has allowed to define rational value allowable непрямолинейности lines of routes at formation of set of competitive routes; results - realization of the developed model of functioning and search of rational variant of a routing network in the cities of Khersons, Kharkov, in educational process of university is carried out; the field - transport technologies.
