The dissertation deals with the theoretic and methodical basis of the activization of the future university entrants’ cognitive independence in the system of pre-school mathematical training. The research focuses upon the personally-orientated direction of pre-school mathematical training of university entrants aimed at the development of their cognitive independence; the ways and means of activization of future university entrants’ cognitive independence are worked out, the conditions of the effective planning and organization of lectures, seminars and independent work of university entrants are determined.
