Trishchyns'ka M. Assessing of intensive care role in treating cerebral stroke in acute period.

In order to determine the most effective approaches and methods of the intensive care the patients with a severe cerebral stroke in acute period in the thesis for the first time we used detailed complex of clinical and laboratory monitoring with pathophysiological and neuroimaging methods that was allowed to lift the degree of the care efficacy evidence up to (intermediate) level. The set of diagnostic criteria was offered to determine the state changes in the patients with a severe cerebral stroke in acute period depending on the stroke type and the time of medical measures onset. The common directions of patient care with a severe cerebral stroke in acute period are classified. The efficacy of modified technique of a therapeutic haemodilution is proved and is inserted in a clinical practice for the patients in acute period of the severe ischaemic stroke who have the level of a haematocrit above than 40%.
