Essay

Dissertation presents the universal method of strengthening of foundations while building reconstruction under complicated ground conditions with a help of piles pressed in through the holes in reinforced concrete slab. Experiments, which are carried out during forcing down the piles give an opportunity to explore the results as sounding of grounds of basis. Such possibility is very important due to the necessity of solving problems, which appear while strengthening of buildings. Optimum pile tip is exemined in the thesis. Correlation between the value of pressing force fixed at the end of the pile and the value of resistant capability of the piles is established using the reliability factor km. Experimental results of inspecting the resistant capability of piles are derived and analysed. During examination the influence of such factor as time, it has been found out that km is decreasing according to formula km = -0,0465 Ln(t)+1,4728. This fact is the evidence of encreasing of the resistant capacity for 17% after 5 years of its production. The results of the research work are implemented into the building practice. They were used while reconstruction buildings in Lviv (Kriva Lipa str., 6; Nalivayka str., 6; Rudnitskogo str., 22). Keywords: tip, resistant capacity, reconstruction.
