Essay

The dissertation work is devoted to the study of mechanism of vibronic interaction effects influence on energy levels of impurity ions in polycomponent halide crystals, searching of novel materials, which can be used as a model objects for the studies of the luminescence of mercury-like emission centers. Reflection, emission and excitation spectra of the crystals A2ZnI4:Mn2+ (A = Cs, Rb) are reported. The main peculiarities of the luminescence of self-trapped excitons in BaCl2 and LaI3 crystals was established. Photoluminescence spectra and excitation photoluminescence spectra of BaCd2Cl6:Pb and BaCd2Cl6:Sn crystals were studied in the temperature range of 77-300 K.
