This dissertation work is devoted to development of electrodes, selective to surface-active quarternary ammonium antiseptic agents: decamethoxyne, miramaistine, aethonium, and procedures of potentiometric determination of the specified substances in medicinal formulations. Optimal compositions of membranes on the basis of a polyvinylchloride matrix for decamethoxyne-, miramaistine- and aethonium-selective electrodes was designed. The expediency of colloidal silver introduction in the membrane composition that results in decrease of potential drift and diminution of a equilibrium potential stabilization time was proved. Definition procedures of the quantitative content decamethoxyne, miramaistine and aethonium in the medicinal formulations with use of designed electrodes by the methods of potentiometry was designed. Operability of designed electrodes for application in pharmaceutical analysis was proved. The Patent of Ukraine (declarative) for the invention to the decamethoxyne-selective electrode wasreceived
