Chumak Z. The Course and Treatment Tactics of the Climacteric Disorders in Women with Hypothyreosis

The dissertation deals with the climacteric period course specialties investigation and treatment in women with the thyroid hypofunction. As a result of the study the more difficult climacteric syndrome course was found, which was directly linked with the TSH figures and inversely with the LH level with LH/FSH index decrease. The urogenital disorders (dysuria, dyspareunia, recidivating vaginal infections) determination rate was significantly higher, than in women without thyroid functional disorders, accompanied by the significantly decreased parameters of "vaginal index health" and vaginal ecosystem dysbiosis. The state of the bone system was characterized by osteoporosis in 37,50%, osteopenia — in 40,63%, which was accompanied by the corresponding figures of the bone metabolism markers. The proposed therapeutic complex gained positive results and possibility of levothyroxine low dose administration.
