Czech modern social and political vocabulary. To study the aspects of semantic and functional development of the political vocabulary. The methods of component analysis and lexical-semantic fields. The classification of social and political vocabulary was developed, the semantic and functional analysis of structure of social and political lexemes was executed. The results of the research can be used in lexicography, in the modern lexicology.
