Djam M. Peculiarities of fusarium head scab development on cereals under conditions of Polyssa of Ukraine and improvement of protective measures

Object - biological peculiarities and character of interaction between cereals and pathogens of fusarium head scab. Aim - to investigate peculiarities of spread and development of fusarium head scab on winter wheat, triticale and rye under conditions of Polissya of Ukraine, to determine species composition of pathogens, to evaluate their harmfulness and to develop measures for control of the disease. Methods - phytopathological, mycological, statistical. Novelty of investigations - for the first time for Polissya of Ukraine species composition of pathogens of fusarium head scab on winter wheat, triticale and rye was identified. It was established that F.graminearum dominated on winter wheat and triticale, F. сulmоrum - on rye. Correlation between precipitation during period of anthesis - soft milk stage and dominating species. Models were built. Dependence between intensity of infection and grain weight from ear, weight of 1000 kernels, germination was proved. Relatively resistant varieties of winterwheat, triticale and rye were found. It was established that use of mixture of biopreparation Agat 25K and fungicide Alto Super 330 EC prevents accumulation of toxins in winter wheat grain.
