Matsybora T. The preconditions for generation and effective use of foreign investments in the agroindustrial complex of Ukraine

The object of research is the process of attracting and using the foreign investment in the agroindustrial complex of Ukraine; the objective of research is to clarify the theoretical and methodological foundations of the foreign investment activity, the determination of the preconditions of attracting foreign investment, substantiation of its role in the development of the domestic agroindustrial complex and the directions of improving the efficiency of its use; the methods of research are: historical, abstract-logical, monographic, quantitative and qualitative comparison, analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, grade scoring, grouping, correlation and regression analysis; theoretical and practical results - the evolution of economic theories and concepts revealing the role of foreign investment in the development of the benefiting country has been studied; the effect of the foreign capital on the development of the agroindustrial complex of Ukraine has been ascertained; the investment attractiveness of enterprises of the agroindustrial complex and the factors of agitating the foreign investment activity have been determined; the novelty of research - the peculiarities of the "foreign investment" category as an important component of the evolution of international economic relations has been disclosed; the methods of evaluating the investment climate of Ukrainian regions has been improved; the advantages of joint entrepreneurship as the most efficient form of attracting the foreign investment in the sectors of the agroindustrial complex have been substantiated; on the basis of multiple linear regression an econometric model has been built and the relationship between the basic macroeconomic indicators and supply of foreign investment to Ukraine has been defined; it has been established that the provision of privileges and the creation of special economic zones and territories has not facilitated the agitation of foreign investment activity; it has been proved that in conditions of unfavourable investment climate no privileges to foreign investors cannot improve the situation of the investment market; the degree of implementation - the research results have been used by the Department of International Integration, Investment Policy and Agrarian Business Development of the Ministry of Agricultural Policy of Ukraine, by the Office of Prospective Development of Land Legislation of the State Committee on Land Resources of Ukraine, by the credit union with foreign investment "The Vinnychyna Farmers", and by the Academy of Municipal Management in teaching the course "The Market for Financial Services"; the sector of use - enterprises of the agroindustrial complex of Ukraine.
