The thesis is devoted to the study of the functional state of the thyroid system in pregnant women suffering from diabetes mellitus type 1,and to improvements in a complex of treatment and preventive measures taken in order to achieve a healthier course of pregnancy and its successful results.The paper suggests a complex of medicines and therapeutic measures to be administered when the presence of pathological titres of anti-thyroid antibodies has been established;such measures are directed at taking care of the established changes;their effectiveness in preventing the development of complications in the course of pregnancy and in the state of the fetus has been shown.
