There is the theoretical and experimаntal basis of methodical system in the research (aims, content, methods, ways, forms of organization). This system provides the realization of functions sums in teaching of Planimetry under conditions of the differentiation and orientated teaching with taking into the new educational standard in Mathematics. The methodolody which was worked out includes the aims and tasks of teaching Geometry, the peculiarities of educational activities of solving sums, the levels of educational achievements. This methodolody contributes to improving the cognitive faculties of pupils.
