Research methods and equipment - computational mathematical modeling, computer-aided design, and experiments conducted under laboratory and industrial production conditions. Theoretical and practical results - mathematical models, methods for computer-aided calculation and design, recommendations on the improvement of the technologies and equipment for the strip hot rolling processes. Novelty - evaluation of the stressed and strained state and quality indicators with due regard for the real boundary conditions at ultralight gage strip hot rolling. Degree of introduction - practical recommendations on the improvement of ultralight gage hot strip production and the equipment for hot-rolling mills working stands (operation certificates are available). Sphere of application - design departments of metallurgical works and machine-building companies as well as scientific research institutes.
