The thesis is devoted to the characteristic of lexical and thematic paradigms which are dominating in the linguistic picture of Yevgen Gutsal's poetic idiolect.The concept "lexical and thematic" paradigm is used to denote the groups of words which introduce a certain kind of regulating of the objects, phenomena, events and which can be picked out on the basis of these or those logical connections from some point of view.The main lexical and thematic paradigms of the linguistic picture of Yevgen Gutsal poetic idiolect are paradigms of floralexemes, zoolexemes, notions to denote space and time, names of colours. In the investigation the organization of lexical and thematic paradigms in the poetic works of Yevgen Gutsal are investigated, the functional and semantical classification of their components are made, figurative means that are grounded on the development of these or those components of lexical and thematic paradigms are defined and characterized, aesthetic role of investigated units in thedinamic system of Yevgen Gutsal's poetic works are found out.
