Essay

Dissertation is dedicated to studying medico-social rehabilitation of patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus (DM). Object: medico-social rehabilitation of patients with type 1 DM. The aim of work is to evaluate the compensation of disease and course of diabetic nephropathy in patients with type 1 DM after the education taking into account their level of non-verbal intellect grade (non-ver. IG) and psychological features. Methods and apparatus: clinical, laboratory, biochemical, instrumental; psychological questionnaires of non-ver. IG, SAN, LOBI determination; glycosylimeter DSA-2000, tomographic scintillation gamma-counter GCS-301T. Theoretical and practical results: self control education of patients with type 1 DM taking into account their psychological features permit to achieve prolonged disease compensation that is accompanied with regression of diabetic nephropathy in persons with high non-ver. IG. The patients with decreased non-ver. IG are needed in the subsequent improvement of program and methodological approaches that give the possibilities to create the prolonged motivation for compensation of disease. The new: new approaches to education of self control in patients with type 1 DM taking into account their non-ver. IG level and psychological features were proposed. Data on positive effect of new differentiated education for self control on dynamics of disease compensation and the course of diabetic nephropathy were demonstrated. The level of approach: the results can be used in the education schools of patients with DM and for diagnosing diabetic nephropathy. Field of application: endocrinology, nephrology, therapy.
