Essay

Object of study: tick ixodes, agents of hematozoon invasions. Purpose - studied of species, distribution of tick ixodes, which to parasitize on the sheep's in Crimea, work out measures over the control with of the tick, consideration of biological cycle carriers of sheep's hematozoon. Parasitologic (ecology-faunistics study, toxicologic effect of acaricides on the isolated of tick ixodes, microscopic investigation of smears from organs of ticks), hematomancy and biochemical studied of bloods, statistical methods. In the course of ecological and fauna research it was established that 6 tick species are found in Crimea, out of which number the Rh. bursa tick species, making up 69.7 pc., prove to be the most frequently met with. The life cycle and biological specifics of the Rh. bursa tick have been studied, the activity duration made more precise, and forecast made of their number in nature depending on meteorological indices. The miticides' action on the ticks Ixodidae has been studied in the course oflaboratory and economic experiments, as well as the miticides' residual quantity in biological materials, influence on the sheep's organism and economic efficiency. The experiments' results made it possible to improve the tick fighting pattern consisting of three treatments of the animals. The scientific novelty to bee acknowledges the patent on the invention. The methodical recommendations "The diagnostics and methods measures over the control with of the hematoparasitic disease of sheep in the Ukraine" have been development. The results of the work maybe will bee used in the applied veterinary medicine, sheep breeding and in the studies during teaching course "Parasitology and invasion diseases" in the academy by third and fourth level accreditation.
