Yakubovych G. The complex therapy of the patients treated for active form of syphilis taking into account the metabolitic chang of immune-competent

Objectives – the peculiarities of the clinical course in patients with the active forms of syphilis; methods – clinical, serologic, cytochemical, immunotechnique, statistical; novelty – for the first time, the research was made for metabolism, cytochemical indexes (RNA, glycogenum, acid and alkaline phosphataza) on the cellular level in leucocytes (granulocytes and mononuclear leukocytes) in patients with the active forms of syphilis; the interrelation between cytochemical indexes in peripheral blood leucocytes (RNA, glycogenum, acid and alkaline phosphataza) and the indexes of immune system (number of T-lymphocytes, T-lymphocytes helpers, T-lymphocytes suppressors, B-lymphocytes, concentration of IgM, IgG, IgA, circulating immune complex (CIC), complementary activity of serological reaction (CASR)) in patients with the active forms of syphilis was studied; for the first time, different medicinal forms of a new preparation, flurenizide, were clinically approved and its efficiency basing on the changes that occurred in leucocytes on the cellular level in patients with the active forms of syphilis was assessed; the efficiency of different medicinal forms of flurenizide was assessed with the aid of cytochemical indexes in peripheral blood leucocytes; the new treatment course for the patients with the active forms of syphilis with flurenizide application was proposed; results – the new method of complex treatment for syphilitic infection with application of antibiotic therapy and a modern home-produced preparation “flurenizide” was developed and clinically approved. The treatment course is affordable for patients with syphilis and allows accelerating the regress of clinical implications in patients with the active forms of syphilis, reducing the terms of negative reaction of serological reaction complex (SRC) and respectively reducing the patients’ duration of stay at dispensary examination, also it allows preventing serum resistance at syphilis and relapses. As one of the additional assessment criteria forefficiency of treatment of patients with syphilis the research method of cytochemical indexes in peripheral blood leucocytes for more profound perception of disease pathogenesis was proposed. The scientific principles of the thesis were practically applied in the performance of Lviv Regional and Lviv Municipal dermatovenerologic dispensary and at Rivne and Ternopil Regional dermatovenerologic dispensaries. The results of the work were introduced into the academic activity of the Department of Dermatovenerology in Lviv National Danylo Halytskyy Medical University.
