Essay

The subject of research is the dynamics and reliability of bogie frames of electric train coaches. The aim is the creation of methods and software for the determination parameters of the deflected mode and failure properties of bogie frames. Methods of research are the finite element method and the probabilistic approaches, random function methods, elasticity theory methods, vibration theory methods and reliability theory methods. Mathematical models of mechanical systems ''bogie-track" and random vibrations problem-solving are developed. The delay of kinematic external loading is taken into account. The method of reliability prediction of bogie frames on a prototype is first developed. The results of this work have been applied in Kharkov underground.
