Zadoya N. Differentiated preoparative sedation of 7-11 years old children during surgical sanation of mouth cavity.

Dissertation is devoted to the problem of increasing efficiency of anaesthetizing at children, which require surgical sanation of mouth cavity. Applied clinical research is based on the inspection of 410 somatically healthy children in the age from 7 to 11 years to which operation of deleting the tooth was conducted. The control group included 42 children, which had a low degree of anxiety. Clinic-laboratory methods and psychological tests were used. On the basis of analyzing the results of the psychological questioning and clinic-laboratory indexes dependence on the psychoemotional state of patients is set. It is exposed that the psychoemotional state of children which feel psychoemotional tension relies straightly on the degree of anxiety before operative interference and does not rely on the gender, and cause of deleting the tooth. The maximal changes are observed at children with the high degree of anxiety. The method of suggestion is the most effective method of preoperative sedation at children with the low degree of anxiety, and with middle and high - application of complex of acupressure.
