KaLiuk A. The troops of the People's Commissariat of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (NKVD, Ministry of Internal Affairs) (1939-1953): historical and legal aspect

The dissertation is dedicated to research of the phenomena of development and practical activities of armed units of the People's Commissariat of Internal Affairs of Ukraine as a component of the enforcement agency of the state. It analyzes the positive and negative features determined the process of evolu-tion of armed troops of special task and their influence the enlightened events. The legal base of the People's Commissariat of Internal Affairs (Ministry of Internal Affairs) of Ukraine troops' activities (in 1939 - 1953) is revealed as well as the principles of their organizational and structural conversion, normative and legal base of activities, means and methods of execution of functions incumbent upon them.
