The dissertation is devoted to the questions of geometrical modeling of form-building qualities of changing natural lighting in view of real design, climatic, light conditions.On the basis of generalization and the analysis of complex processes of natural illumination the geometry of the basic components of natural light is defined in this work. New ways of geometrical modeling of position of falling and own shadows on flat and curve surfaces, trajectories and areas of their moving are developed. They are based on the application of the geometrical model of a daily cone of solar beams.Ways of geometrical modeling of distribution of treatments of light and shade on surfaces in view of prevailing influence of a diffused light of the sky are expanded. Geometrical modeling of natural illumination has received the further development at use of changing parameters of a light vector. It has allowed establishing features of joint and separate action of such sources of natural light as a direct sunlight, a diffused light of the sky and total light of the Sun and the sky.Influence of brightness of the sky on the size and direction of a carry of a diffused light of the sky in the set point of a surface is investigated.
