Essay

The thesis deals with the role of the epiphysis (pineal gland) in the regulation of chronorythms of the renal activity in the norm and under conditions of immobilizing stress. One hour immobilizing stress has been found to cause disorders of an hour organization of excretory ionoregulatory and acidoregulatory renal function. Encreasing of the rhythm amplitudes indicated about the tension of the adaptive process. Established peculiarities of the animal stressing under the conditions of hypofunction of the gland results in more considerable changes of the integral chronorhythmic characteristics of the functional renal condition main parameters than in case of hyperfunction of the gland. Dependence of an hour organization of the main renal functions, caused by immobilizing stress, upon the functional activity of the epiphysis (pineal gland) has been found. Administration of exogenous melatonin in the dose of 1,0 mg/kg of the body weight 1 hour before the immobilizing stress has been established to preventexpressed changes of the main renal functions parameters, caused by immobilizing stress, which allows to improve diagnostics, to optimize therapeutic and preventive measures of nephrologic pathology developing on the background of immobilizing stress.
