The thesis is dedicated to development and approbation of immune-modulating therapeutic method of chronic parodontitis on the basis of study of its etiologic and pathogenetic features on background of different severity of insulin insufficiency. For the first time in development of chronic parodontitis the role of such strictly anaerobic bacterial species is established which have not been described as etiologic agents of disease earlier, their ability to split complement, lysozyme and antibodies is revealed. For the first time it is shown, that in saliva of patients with chronic parodontitis and insulin insufficiency more expressed deficiency of lysozyme, secretory immunoglobulin A and its specific antibacterial fractions takes place, than at chronic parodontitis with absence of insulin insufficiency. For the first time it is established, that insulin insufficiency at patients with chronic parodontitis promotes oppression of phagocytosis and secretion of interleukin-1 and tumor necrosis factor-a by monocytes, to formation of more expressed suppressive variant of immunodeficiency, the greatest activation of lipid peroxidation and production of prostaglandins. For the first time it is shown, that usage of lysobact and amison in therapy of chronic parodontitis on background of insulin insufficiency positively influences on immune, metabolic and clinical parameters. The obtained data are used in educational process of 6 medical high schools of Ukraine.
