Plakhova O. Life Quality of Ukraine's Population in the Period of Transformation (sociological analysis).

Object of the research: life quality of various social groups of Ukraine's population in the period of society transformations; Objective of the research: to develop of the theoretical positions and the techniques of research of the population's life quality, to reveal of dynamics of its condition and to optimize of its parameters in the conditions of transformation; Methods of the research: general scientific, sociological, statistical; Theoretical and practical results: the conceptual basis for the further theoretical studying problems of the life quality, for the application in education work, for the practice into optimization of state social policy, for the management of social sphere as a whole in the condition of transformation of the Ukrainian society; The novelty: social life quality is considered as a structural element of life quality and author's definition of the given concept has been offered; the complex criterion and indicators to estimate the social life quality of the population hasbeen proposed; The level of the application: the results have been applied in the studying course "Life Quality of the population" for students of Kharkov National University.
