Object: process of the strategic planning of economic activity of wood economic complexes of the Volyn region. Aim: ground directions of forming of mechanism of the strategic planning of activity of wood economic complexes of region. Methods: systems approach, economic-statistic comparison, correlation-regressive analysis, axioms, graphic analysis, cartographic analysis. Results: the method the chart of organization of process of the strategic planning of activity of regional wood economic complexes is developed, the method of choice of competition strategy of wood economic enterprises is developed. Use: in work of regional organs of power and wood economic enterprises, in educational process.
