Batrymenko O. The features of contemporary military and political conflicts

The dissertation studies the features of modern military and political conflicts and effective ways of their settlement. It highlights the essence of military and political conflict; defines the characteristic grounds, regularity and structural elements of contemporary military and political conflicts, gives a typology of military and political conflicts and proves its practical value in the development of expert recommendations as for the settlement of these conflicts. Accumulating world experience it analyzes the ways of settlement of contemporary military and political conflicts and proves that their effectiveness depends on optimal combination of force-engaged and no force-engaged approaches to the settlement on every stage of conflict evolution. The Ph.D. thesis gives the principles which can serve as a theoretical basis for the development of a strategy for Ukraine to react to the origin and run of military and political conflicts.
