Essay

The dissertation research is devoted to the linguocide of the Ukrainian language and the ways of overcoming it by the Ukrainian people in the XIX-XX centuries. Theoretical problems of language space, linguosphere, typology of language policies and language situations are investigated in the work; assimilation policies in the countries of Western Europe are in the centre of attention as well. The scientific novelty is in the introduction of new archive materials, the definition of linduocide systematizatson of the data about it.
