Essay

It is made evident that existing crushers and upsetters do not per- mit quality crushing of drupes' pulp and preserve intact the stone shell. The expediency of crushing of the pulp of drupes in the rotary smooth-ribbed crusher is substantiated. New data on the influence of the crusher's structure and mode parameters on the quality indices of the crushed semi-finished product and the time of fruits staying in the crusher. Optimum structure and mode parameters and methods of determining of quality of the semi-finished product and productivity of the rotary crushers are specified. The A9-КЮУ crusher's updating is proposed as it permitted to obtain a good quality of the crushed semi- finished product and raise productivity by 30…60 pc. The annual cost efficiency of application of the results of work to the production makes up 24,818 UAH.
