The theoretical and methodological approaches were systematized to national and liberation movement, to public opinion and periodicals. The work forms the understanding of interest to "Slavonic question" and "Slavonic idea" in Russian empire, representation and appreciation of Slavonic movement for independence in the newspapers and magazines of different tendency. The influence of materials in periodicals by Russian society and foreign policy were described as well.
