Thesis is devoted to research of principles of judicial law of Ukraine and its embodiment in legislative regulation of activity of militia of Ukraine. Commons and specific properties of principles of law open up in general and judicial law in particular. It is explored origin and development of principles of law. The criteria of classification of principles of judicial law are offered and considered separate its prospects. Was defined level of embodiment of principles of judicial law in legislative regulation of activity militias of Ukraine, found out failings and offered ways of their removal. The role of principles of judicial law is exposed in activity of militia of Ukraine. On the basis of inernational agreements the participant of which there is Ukraine, certainly value and influencing of international legal principles of judicial law in legislative regulation of activity of militia of Ukraine.
