Essay

Object – comparative assessment of the use of trimetazidin, cardonat and mildronat in patients with coronary heart disease; methods – clinical (assessment of frequency dynamics of angina pectoris attacks, assessment of quality of life and tolerance to physical activity by determining the distance of 6-minute walking), instrumental (electrocardiography, determining the Q-T interval dispersion, echocardiography), biochemical (blood lipid spectrum, indices of lipid peroxidation), statistical; novelty – the proved positive effect of trimetazidin, mildronat and cardonat on the quality of life of patients with coronary heart disease of different levels of complexity; the ascertained connection between non-homogeneity of processes of myocardium repolarization and disorders in the contraction function of heart and the proved positive effect of trimetazidin, mildronat and cardonat on the electrical instability of myocardium; the proved modulating effect of the cytoprotectors under investigation on the contraction function of heart, on processes of lipid peroxidation and indices of blood lipid spectrum in patients with coronary heart disease and the specified mechanisms of cardiocytoprotective effect of trimetazidin, mildronat and cardonat; the specified prescription for the use of trimetazidin, mildronat and cardonat on the basis of the comparative analysis of their therapeutic efficacy; the results enable the pathophysiologic justification for the use of metabolic cytoprotectors in complex treatment of patients with coronary heart disease; branch – medicine.
