Muchnyk A. Jewish Credit and Cooperative Movement in Ukraine: ethnic and political studies aspects.

Thesis deals with the studies of Jewish Credit and Cooperative Movement in Ukraine as an example of public institution. The development of monitory cooperation and its role in political, professional, social and cultural life of a Jewish community are shown as well as how it was influenced by ethnic psychology and by ethnic culture. It is proved that cooperative activity is quite natural for the Jewish people and also the expediency of modern renewal of such a form of social protection among Jewish communities of Ukraine is shown. Analysis of motives of the financial foreign support for Jewish people is made. It is proved that at the present time without implementation of such a cooperative form of financial protection defense the self-protection of Jewish and other population, the state can face serious problems in social sphere.
