Dissertation is devoted to the questions of mining and geometrical analysis of gabbro ornamental stone beds with the purpose to increase the rationality of black raw material utilization. The researches show the peculiarities of gabbro massif structure of Korosten plutonium. The methods of rapid analyses of ore nodules and natural stone anisotropy were worked out. The method of evaluation the geometry of ornamental stone beds is improved. The basic theoretical and experimental researches proved for the first time the possibility to get quantitative indices that characterize stone appearance and its ornamental quality. The method for determination the quantitative parameters of qualitative characteristics is worked out. The method can be used to get information about ornamental stone properties, which are obtained difficulty using other known methods. Obtained results can be used for geometrization; for making different electronic geological, mining and geometrical reports, maps and enclosures, plans.
