The problem which is poorly investigated in the domestic and world science is examined in the dissertation. Features of the Prague composer's school in the Ukrainian musical culture are considered for the first time. According to original sources and historical-cultural scientific materials the active character of creative contacts of musical circles of Prague in the context of development of slavic cultures is covered. The methodological positions of the representatives of Prague composer's school (L.Yanachek, V.Novak, Y.Suk, Y.Ferster, O.Nedbal) are analysed. The influence of the teachers of the Prague conservatory on the development of creative skill of the Ukrainian composers (V.Barvinsky, V.Nizhankivsky, M.Kolessa, R.Simovich, Z.Lyssjko, S.Turkevich-Lysovsjka) is characterized. The modern tendency of creativity of the Prague period of the specified Ukrainian composers are defined.
