Thesis covers a comprehensive analysis of political propaganda as a way of establishment and transformation of political regimes. It is proved that political propaganda is an important means of gaining, retaining, and changing political power. Patterns of forms and changes of different types of political propaganda, its possibilities in historical process are defined. Meaning and role of political language a role of political symbols in political propaganda were analyzed. Relations between political propaganda and mass media were observed as well as interdependency of political propaganda and electoral processes.
