Grytsyk L. Pharmacognostical investigation of types Petasites flora sort of Ukraine

Systematic pharmacognostical investigations of types of Petasites (P.) flora sort of Ukraine were carried out. 5 flavonoids and 4 hydroxycoric acids were identified. There was estimated the dynamics of biological active compounds accumulation in the material depending on the vegetation period and growing areas. The extracts from the material of the P. hybridus are nontoxic and show healing, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobic activity. The ointment with healing action was worked out on the basis of the P. hybridus leaves extract. The growing areas of the P. hybridus and P. alba were found on the territory of the western regions of Ukraine; leaves and rhizomes reserves were determined. There was worked out the method of the spectrophotometrical determination of the sum of the phenolic combination in the re-calculation on the chlorogenic acid. The projects of analytical normative documents “Petasites hybridus leaves” were developed.
