Dorofeeva L. The Inquiry in Customs Bodies

The thesis is devoted to the theoretic and practical issues of inquiry prosecution by the customs bodies of Ukraine. The place of the customs bodies in the system of subjects of the criminal code has been specified; the essence of the inquiry prosecuted by the customs bodies has been considered; judicial state of the customs officials in the process of inquiry prosecution has been analysed. Much attention is paid to the disclose of peculiarities of criminal case institution on contraband as well as to the disclose of specific character of implementation of investigatory activities and application of every measures of criminal-judicial compulsion by the officials of the Customs Service. Main directions of judicial activity rationalisation, mastering of organisational structure of the customs bodies and departmental regulation are proposed. The concrete proposals on mastering of activity of the customs bodies in the part of inquiry prosecution and introduction of changes and supplements in the criminal-judicial and customs legislation of Ukraine have been formulate
