Merkulova N. Methods of statement tema-rhema division

Object of research - means of theme - rheme division of the statement. The purpose is to investigate all possible ways of rheme identification, analyse an actual division on different levels of language. Method: descriptive (in synchronous cut), transformational, component, valent - distributive and method of position changes. For the first time the attention in the work is paid to the units of rheme identification, it is used special term to denominate such units. As a result of research it has been gathered and analyzed the rheme identificators of Ukrainian language, put in to the system, which consists of syntactic, lexico-semantic, phonetic and para-linguistic means of theme - rheme division. The work will be valuable practical material for writing term papers and degrees, working out special courses and special seminars, in development of new positions oratorical and advertising art.
