Tymoshchuk N. The antitotalitarian discourse of Ukranian prose of the 20th century: the artifitial starvation's problematic and peculiarities of its artistic realization

The analytical research of writings about the artificial starvation in 1933 is made in the dissertation. The specific of the author's vision of the totalitarian system, artificial starvation in 1932-1933 in the prose of the 20th century are analyzed. That's why the epic writings on this theme were taken in wider circle of Ukrainian and foreign writings which have eschatological character. The methods of psychological analysis of life's reality, the character of the antitotalitarian discurs of the Ukrainian fiction about artificial starvation are investigated in the thesis. The ethnic basis and aesthetical forms of soviet reality modeling were underlined. This kind of prose occupies the special place in the history of Ukrainian literature of the 20th century and Ukrainian aesthetical intention in general.
