Vashchynets' I. The civil law protection of copyright in the conditions of development of information technologies

The dissertation is devoted to the complex research of the problems of civil law protection of copyright in the conditions of development of information technologies. The basic trends of copyright development in the modern terms, the impact of information technologies on developing of definitions of copyright object and author of a work, are defined in the dissertation. Тhe legal analysis of the concept and the terms of copyright protection, the features of civil law protection of author’s economic and moral non-economic rights are given. The definition of copyright protection, the legal nature of civil-law methods of copyright protection, the technical means of copyright protection and their legal status are determined in the paper. On the basis of legal analysis of national legislation in force and views of famous scientist the author makes scientific conclusions and propositions concerning the improvement of Civil Code of Ukraine, The Law of Ukraine “On Copyright and Related Rights”.
